Eliminate Ama: Ama is toxic, sticky, and heavy, and it accumulates in the body when digestion is poor. Detoxifying involves cleansing Ama from the digestive system and tissues.

Balance the Doshas: Restoring harmony between the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—is critical for optimal digestive health and detoxification.

1. Dietary Detox

Triphala: It is a powerful detoxifying formula made from three fruits, Amla, Haritaki, and Bibhitaki. Triphala is an excellent remedy for cleansing the digestive system. It helps regulate bowel movements, supports liver detoxification, and promotes the removal of toxins. Take a teaspoon of Triphala powder with warm water before bed for gentle detoxification.

Ginger: Fresh ginger stimulates Agni and helps remove toxins. Drinking ginger tea before meals, chewing a small piece of ginger, and adding ginger to meals can enhance digestion and clear Ama.

Coriander Seeds: Boil a teaspoon of coriander seeds in water, strain, and drink this water to help detoxify the digestive system and improve digestion.

Seasonal fasting: As season changes it is a good idea to do a detox by fasting. It helps in readying your system for changes due to weather. There are various types of fasting like partial fasting examples water only fasting, fruits fasting etc and complete fasting for short term.
